I first fell in love with Egypt in December 2004 on my first trip where I stayed at Sharm el sheikh and did a Christmas Day trip to Cairo. From the outset I was fascinated by the culture, the architecture, the exotic fragrances and oriental cuisine, the natural beauty of the Red Sea region, the jaw dropping extremes of Cairo and not least, the warmth and the spirit of the Egyptian people. I was hooked so choosing Egypt as a venue for my healing retreats was a natural for my own enjoyment and to share the joy and mystique of this wonderful country with others.

In looking for a venue to host my healing retreats and health holidays I could think of no better place than beside the Red Sea, though off the beaten track, away from the busy resorts, in the peaceful tranquility of Sinai on the Gulf of Aqaba.

Guests who have joined our retreats have also enjoyed the spirit of Egypt by including an excursion or two in their holiday. This can be done by taking a day out from the detox or adding some extra time before or after the retreat to enjoy the area.

The most popular and accessible trips are to Petra in Jordan and to St Catherines Monastery, home of Moses burning bush at the foot of Moses mountain where he received the 10 Commandments, a very special pilgrimmage for many. Adding extra days to your stay means you could also include a short trip to Cairo to visit the ancient pyramids, the Cairo museum and the famous Khan el Khalili Bazaar, just to name afew of Cairo's attractions.
