The yoga teacher on our healing and detox retreats is Jyoti Jo (Jo Hogarty) who teaches Ashtanga yoga and a range of Meditation techniques. All levels beginner to advanced are catered for in her classes on our yoga holidays in Sinai Egypt and the UK.

Astanga Yoga is a system of yoga transmitted to the modern world by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915-2009). This method of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures—a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.

Yoga classes on our retreats are usually at sunrise or early morning, outside by the pool at our Red Sea venues, and in the garden for our UK summer healing retreat venues, leaving you feeling vibrant and vital for the day. Meditation and relaxation clasesses are in the evening. We start with salutation to the sun, some asanas and a relaxation.
